Overview

Emily Freed, born Emily Jane Rogers on Jan. 23rd, 1986, is an American poet, writer, philosopher, amateur astrologer, psychology student and Discordian Pope.

Childhood

Emily was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Charlie Tobias Rogers of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Kimberly Ann Rogers of Corpus Christi, Texas. Her parents are not related to each other, despite their identical last names and anything you may have heard about Arkansas. At the time of her birth, her father was a 22-year-old logger and her mother was 19 and unemployed. This resulted in poverty; the first year of her life, her mother had to choose between buying more bhutane to heat the house for the winter and buying food for the family - but a freak storm caused a tree to fall on the bhutane tank, and the bhutane company replaced it, completely full, free of charge. Thus Emily survived the winter.

In November of '88, her parents divorced, and Emily and her mother moved to Plymouth, Indiana. Her mother remarried to a man named Kurt McMillen, and Emily's  little sister Heather was born from this union. Later, her father remarried to Katrina Toland, and another sister, Olivia Rogers, was born. Emily lived in Indiana until her mother divorced Kurt in 1997, and then she moved to Rowlett, Texas.

Emily lived in Rowlett, Texas until 2002. During this time her mother had a short marriage to Joseph Osborne. In 2002, her mother married Jay Von Tungeln (to whom she is presently married) and the family moved to Arlington, Texas (where they currently reside).

In 2003, Emily graduated from Martin High School, and met Randy Alan Freed, whom she would later marry.

Early Adulthood

Emily married Randy Freed on February 23rd, 2008. She currently attends Tarrant County College, and will finally finish her 2-year degree this year, after 5 years of attending college off and on. She works for AOK Repair Group, a furniture repair company, and in her spare time, writes horrible works of poetry and fiction that no one in their right mind would ever want to read.
