Started reddit.com with Steve Huffman in June 2005, providing a protective layer for Steve so that all he had to worry about was developing the site.  The reddit alien is also attributed to Alexis, who insisted on its inclusion before the site was even designed.  Inspired by Google, he often changes the logo for holidays or just for random geeky reasons.

Born in New York City, he was stolen away to the suburbs of Maryland before his 4th birthday.  Spending the next fourteen years there had a profound impact on his development.  His fear of malls and minivans is attributed to this over-exposure.

Still working on all-things-non-technical for reddit but now a cog in the corporate machine that is Condé Nast.

Keeps up a blog at redditAll.com and has started a bizarre project known only as "breadpig."

There's also speculation that he's ghostwriting a book for web 2.0 design guru Pierre Francois.
