Mikey McFall (legally Michael Robert McFall) is a journalist.

McFall is the crime and religion reporter for The Daily Utah Chronicle, the fifth largest newspaper in Utah. The Society of Professional Journalists hailed the Daily Utah Chronicle as the country's second best daily college newspaper of 2007.

McFall has also been a freelance reporter for E! Entertainment, and has appeared in The Salt Lake Tribune, The Deseret News and The National Student News Service.

McFall socially goes by "Mikey", a name he's retained since childhood in lue of his legal name "Michael", the inherited name of an estranged uncle.

McFall was born in Los Angeles to an Anglo and Chinese family, and grew up in Whittier, California with his sister Hannah, where they both attended Whittier Christian High School. His father, Thomas, is a lawyer and his mother, Lilian, is a pharmacist.

He was initially raised Hindu, but adopted Christianity as his personal faith. McFall was an alter boy for St. Mathias Episcopal Church and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. However, McFall describes himself as non-denominational. He again chose a neutral stand-point by registering as an Independent, though he admits his political viewpoints tend to lean more Republican than Democrat.

He now majors in Journalism with a minor in Earth Science at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, though he still visits Whittier every few months.

In 2003, McFall placed second in the first Worldwide Yu-Gi-Oh Video Game Championship, held in New York City, NY. He won the runner-up position after defeating the champion from Japan, but losing in the final round to the champion from France.
