Laurence spends most of his time sitting by the furnace in the little office on High street where he toils endlessly. He has no hopes or dreams other than to die of fatigue at his desk, or possibly to someday own a pug named Rita.
Pugs are a consistent source of joy for Laurence. He has dreams where he owns dozens of them, and then wakes up sad because in the real world he has none at all.
Laurence is a co-founder of Habit industries, a collection of benevolent super-powered mutant beings obsessed with the betterment of mankind via the introduction of dead-simple animation applications to a human-made "online 'computer' network" called "the internet."
