No sports people on the front page!
Could you not put professional jocks on the front page of the site any more? This is not that kind of site. Artists should be honored here, not meatheads who are worshiped for hitting a ball with a stick. Start with Luis Buñuel. |

its not right to call people meatheads and what do you mean this is not that kind of site..... hitting a ball with a stick like you say is actualy very hard and i tried it once it was hard and i didn't do very well so wh y are you saying that? give some respect if you want it too

If you're not a jock, why are you defending them? Never mind. The overall tenor of this place on the web is one of elevated design, not one of hamhanded backslapping good ole boys. That is what I am trying to say. Also, I'm the one who made the first comment and I am waiting for the artists to get their due. Some artist. Any artist.

I think artists and athletes alike are well-deserving of a place on the front page. After all, both activities require talent, practice, and skill!
Whether one is superior to the other... who can say? But I can say with certainty that there are people who like each, both, and neither. Why deny some in favor of the other?
What I would like to see most, however, are common folk like you or I who have had interesting experiences to share.
I would also like to see the Featured Biographies update more often -- at least one new biography per day, I think.
